    Source / Purification

Monoclonal antibody is produced by immunizing animals with recombinant protein specific to the amino terminus of human NR2F6/EAR-2 protein.

    Background

NR2F6 (Nuclear receptor subfamily 2 group F member 6, EAR-2, COUP-TFIII) is a member of the NR2F family of transcription factors, defined by their role in the regulation of organogenesis, neurogenesis, and cellular differentiation during embryonic development (1,3). NR2F6 acts as a negative regulator for TRβ1-mediated transcriptional activity, a transcriptional repressor of IL-17 expression in Th-17 differentiated CD4+ T cells, and a repressor of the NFAT/AP-1 complex on both the interleukin-2 and the interferon-γ cytokine promoters (2-5). NR2F6 has a non-redundant role in antagonizing anti-cancer effector T cell responses (5). It has been shown that loss of NR2F6 enhances the activity of established PD-L1 checkpoint blockade, promoting tumor regression and increased survival in mouse models (5,6).
