As a new antibody is developed, Cell Signaling Technology (CST) scientists will typically test the antibody’s stability and activity by western blot after storing samples of the antibody, separately and simultaneously, for a period of 7 days at -20°C, at room temperature, and at 37°C. Antibodies that passed stability testing have been found to be just as active and stable after 7 days of storage at 37°C and 7 days at room temperature as compared to storage at -20°C.
