Thoughtful green design of our packaging materials has made CST a leader in our industry. CST materials are made from the highest amount of post-consumer paper based on design, and include everything from product brochures to shipping envelopes and antibody vial boxes. In addition to our commitment to using pulp from post-consumer resources, the raw paper we use is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC).
CST ships all cold products in thermal packaging that is completely recyclable, with insulation made from paper fibers and lined with paper. There is no use of EPS foam for shipping by any CST facility.
While we are proud of our track record in sustainable packaging materials, we are always thinking of new and creative means to improve CST packaging to maintain product quality while minimizing our environmental impact.
