    Product Information

    Product Description

This Cell Signaling Technology® antibody is conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 488 fluorescent dye under optimal conditions. This antibody conjugate is expected to exhibit the same species cross-reactivity as the unconjugated TIPE2 (E5Q2S) Rabbit mAb #53842.

    Product Usage Information

    Application Dilution
    Flow Cytometry (Fixed/Permeabilized) 1:50

    Storage

Supplied in PBS (pH 7.2), less than 0.1% sodium azide, and 2 mg/mL BSA. Store at 4°C. Do not aliquot the antibody. Protect from light. Do not freeze.

    Protocol

    Specificity / Sensitivity

TIPE2 (E5Q2S) Rabbit mAb (Alexa Fluor® 488 Conjugate) recognizes endogenous levels of total TIPE2 protein.

    Species Reactivity:

    Human, Mouse, Rat

    Source / Purification

Monoclonal antibody is produced by immunizing animals with recombinant protein specific to the sequence of human TIPE2 protein, including the carboxy terminus.

    Background

Tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α)-induced protein 8-like 2 (TIPE2) is a negative regulator of innate and adaptive immunity, and is important in maintaining immune homeostasis. TIPE2 inhibits TGF-β activated kinase 1 (TAK1), a key regulator of inflammatory signaling (1). TIPE2 inhibits oncogenic Ras activity, and deficiency of TIPE2 is associated with resistance to cell death and increased cell migration (2). TIPE2 is downregulated in several human cancers, and may serve as a tumor suppressor and biomarker (3).
