SignalStain® Aqueous Mounting Medium #27290

    Product Information

    Product Usage Information

    a. To prevent bubbles, do not shake the bottle. Carefully tip the bottle and dispense drops, using constant pressure on the bottle. If any bubbles are in the bottle tip, dispense and discard several drops before use.

    b. Add 1 or 2 drops of SignalStain® Aqueous Mounting Medium on the stained section. When the coverslip is applied, the medium will spread evenly across the coverslipped area and will dry completely. Sections may be viewed immediately, but it will take approximately 10-15 minutes for the coverslip to become immobilized and several hours to be completely hardened.

    c. If the view is obstructed with air bubbles or other artifacts, coverslips can be removed and sections can be remounted by soaking in buffer (PBS or TBST). Slides can be stored at room temperature for at least 12 months without the substrate fading.

    Storage

Store at room temperature. SignalStain® Aqueous Mounting Medium is stable for 12 months. Keep container tightly sealed when not in use.
