    Protocol

    Specificity / Sensitivity

CAPZB (E4H6C) Rabbit mAb recognizes endogenous levels of total CAPZB protein.

    Species Reactivity:

    Human, Mouse, Rat

    Source / Purification

Monoclonal antibody is produced by immunizing animals with a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues surrounding Ile21 of human CAPZB protein.

    Background

F-actin-capping protein, a ubiquitously expressed heterodimer composed of structurally similar α and β subunits, regulates cytoskeletal organization and function by binding to the actin filament barbed ends and maintaining the cellular pool of monomeric actin (1).

CAPZB expression is associated with tumor progression in epithelioid sarcoma (EpiS), regulating tumor cell growth, invasion, and migration (2).
