    Protocol

    Specificity / Sensitivity

DOCK2 (E7X1P) Rabbit mAb recognizes endogenous levels of total DOCK2 protein.

    Species Reactivity:

    Human

    Source / Purification

Monoclonal antibody is produced by immunizing animals with a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues near the carboxy terminus of human DOCK2 protein.

    Background

DOCK2 (dedicator of cytokinesis 2) is a member of the DOCK-A subfamily of guanine nucleotide exchange factors (GEFs) which function as activators of small G proteins (1,3). Expressed in leukocytes, DOCK2 activates isoforms of Rac which regulate chemotaxis as part of the immune response (1,2,4).
