    Source / Purification

Monoclonal antibody is produced by immunizing animals with a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues surrounding Leu100 of human LRRC15 protein.

    Background

LRRC15 (Leucine-rich repeat-containing protein 15, LIB) is a transmembrane protein belonging to the LRR family of proteins involved in cell–cell and cell–ECM (extracellular matrix) interactions (1-4). It has been identified as a marker for TGF-β–driven CAFs (cancer-associated fibroblasts), which are associated with immunotherapy resistance (3,4). LRRC15 is highly expressed in multiple solid tumor types, with low expression in normal tissues, making it a good therapeutic candidate for cancers with high stromal content, such as pancreatic cancer, non–small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), and triple-negative breast cancer (3,4).
